Seems to me that she was watching you, if she repeated the maneuver twice and attempted the third time. That's why I usually already drop a gear when preparing to pass. I have had people in their cages do that to me in my cage, one time in my Firebird. Deliberately changed lanes to prevent me from passing, and then go something like 10 mph under the speed limit. So, I drop in third and light on the pedal so he can't hear the engine, and even back off a bit. I get an opening and power shift into second and he tries to do it again but to no avail. My rear quarter panel is at his headlight before he can respond... I will, like the Germans, pass on the right with no hesitation, if there's a doofus who gets his jollies blocking traffic on the interstates around here. One day, there was one in the fast lane doing the moving road block thing and there was a line of cars building up behind, a loonnnggg one. In the right lane, a bunch of semis, doing the double nickel by law. When I saw what was going on, I passed the semis on the right, got in front of the jerk, and slowed down to around 40, so everyone could get by the blockade, once the train of semis passed. Several people honked and gave me a thumbs up as they overtook me. I did see one or two flip the bird at the one who could no longer block the lane. Seems like the whole thing averted some dangerous road rage to me... Stanley

Turns out, some people *are* trying to kill you. On Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 11:15 AM, Kurt Nolte <[email protected]> wrote: > Came Monday.
