No need for embarrassment, as long as the pentagon is regularly getting hacked there's no reason we should feel bad when it happens to us. First thing I would do is change your email passwords (if you haven't done so already). Also, there are stand-alone scanning utilities you can download, burn to a cd, then boot off of that cd to scan your computers. AVG, Kaspersky, and others.
