You said it well, Kyle:  don't exceed your abilities; land might I add, or the 
capacity of your age as well.  One may have great skills but they fade, I am 
finding, as one ages...

The departed rider in this story is the roommate of a friend of a friend. No I 
never met him, but doesn't keep the story from being sad. Only had the bike for 
2 days. The last line of the story, " Investigators said he had no 
motorcycle license." tells it all. He probably never took the Basic Rider 
Course 
which probably would have taught him what he needed to make that turn. Choosing 
a bike with 100+ hp as your first bike is also not the best idea. (I'm guessing 
the model was R6 and not RS like the story states.)
I just thought I'd share this as a reminder to us not to outride our abilities 
or our bikes.
