The lack of suspension would make it uncomfortable too. I'm sure this was more a show piece that something you would want to ride though. Despite the lack of traction of the bicycle tires, I assume you can only spin them so fast before they fly apart. I'm pretty sure that engine could completely destroy that back tire without effort too.
