It's a smaller gauge than a bicycle.  

I'll have to look up some boat dealers.

I'd use a sliding lawnmower throttle if that worked!

I wonder if a bicycle shop could custom make cables for these bikes. Or if the 650 cable, which is still available, could work on a 550.

It didn't start instantly & the battery was low.

Jump started it to go to the store & left it running.

Came home, shut it off, & tried to Start - click

Added water to battery & charging....
