I got the news about NZ from the media. Perhaps it is true there
is not much noise about it, but I do agree with Eric that you
cannot compare this with Haiti. Also, news today are reporting
help from many countries to attend the emergency in NZ. You can

Easy paul, civilized nations have infrastructure and are more
likely to have systems to help manage these kinds of
disasters..... Estimates of the haiti quake are in the hundreds
of thousands of deaths. Its not even a comparison. NZ will surely
get the help it needs. Human beings have a wonderful way of
cooperating when disasters strike.
