Paul,
Replacing this on my 85 650 nighthawk. It sounds easy enough. Thanks Bassam From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Paul Sent: Thursday, March 17, 2011 11:19 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Stem Stays CORRECTED: I'm not sure which bike you're replacing them on but on my 550 NH I only had to disconnect the wiring from the light fixture. After I disconnected the old light fixture the wiring slipped out of the old stem and was fed through the new one into the new signal fixture. So you don't have to disconnect the wiring? or do you have to disconnect and reconnect? I will make sure to send pictures after They have been installed. Do you see/have wiring for the signals? I installed a set years ago on my Nighthawk 550 and just needed to removed the old stems, feed the wire through the new ones and mount them to the bike. It was pretty straightforward. Send us a photo of the new stems once they're installed.
