In my opinion, i got it for several hundred dollars less than it was worth because at the time it was undriveable due to a bad chain and no battery. I took a risk, took it to a shop to assess it, and good news! $500 later i have a very nice bike, with a clean bill of health from a shop i trust. New chain, new battery, tune up, oil change. I just told them to do whatever they'd do if it was their bike. The shop was very positive about the condition of the bike. I'm guessing now i could get $2500 or more for it.
