Hello All,
I'm typing this while my heart rate is still elevated - from
a combination of fear and adrenaline.
While coming back from getting my new bike inspected
(ironically - it passed with no issues) I lost a fuse.
At least I think its a fuse - I haven't calmed down enough to go look.
I was riding back at about 55 MPH when all of a sudden my
headlight, low and high beam, tail light and directionals all went out
simultaneously.
Of course it was getting darker and darker by the second - I
nearly had a head on collision with someone who was passing a car - in
my lane - because he didn't see me. If I hadn't seen him and gotten
into the break down lane - I wouldn't be typing this now.
So: REPLACE YOUR FUSES!
Don't make this mistake I just did.
