Please note - Joey feels REALLY STUPID right now
Hi All,
I'm going to admit this - to salvage some of my credibility and
hopefully reputation - I'm not losing oil out of the GS-1000.
Why? Why did he think this you ask? Well - he pulled a stupid
move. For some reason, I could not get it into my head that the oil
level in a GS-1000 is measured with the bike straight up and down - on
the center stand preferably.
My 450 is measured on the kick stand - ie side stand - and I
just couldn't get it through my head this bike is different.
So.... when you measure the oil level with the bike in the wrong
position - it reads low. Really low.
Ok so I'm now going back to eating my hat.....
