I had my tank restored for 100. Acid washed, then lined it. It has
some dents.
A friend in college showed me how to fixed dents in cars and maybe
bike tanks for only about $3.50 to $5.00.

I am going to try this. I seen it work in person in the hot sun of
Florida, no hair drier.
He used air in the can (air duster in a can). He watched on you
tube. Do a search and see what I mean.

Good luck.

Warning about lining the tank, if it has a internal vent? make sure
it does not get blocked.
