Yes, I spent a month touring the west coast in the US and seeing
family
and friends. Also completed my divorce. And, now I’m back,
safe and
sound, in Christchurch watching the rebuild.

downtown here. It’ll be awhile before this town is anything
like it was,
which is a sad thing.

My ’86 700S still needs its handlebar bent right again but its
ride-able. The ’85 700S is still the reliable beast its
always been.
Neither are a pretty as the photos Graham’s been showing of
700S’s though.
Looks like I need to get busy with a wash and some elbow grease
and polish
<smile>.
Planning on a return trip to the US in Nov / Dec with my new
lady to show
her the west coast. And, longer term, I’m planning on shifting
into a six
month here six months there plan of endless spring and summer.
Then, I’ll
acquire another motorcycle on the US end. Not sure what I’ll
get but I’m
thinking shaft drive, fairing, bags and comfort.
That’s the news from WAY down south where women glow and men

Honestly, I don't think Sean is speaking for everyone in here. I
don't
really see anything wrong with your message. I have seen (very
long)
religious discussions here. On the other hand, I have also seen
"charity" if
you want to call it that way. I can easily see that someone here
might have
a windshield laying down and would like to sell it for cheap. A
long time
ago I was in the need of a windshield too, and I didn't have any
money. All
that I had was an extra seat. I posted a message here, and Allen
happen to
live in the area. He had a windshield he wasn't using, and wanna
have
another seat. We met, make the switch. After that we got
together few time
for rides. At the present, I think we can call each other
friends (right?).
The windshield ended up with Graham, who like it better than the
small one
he used to have. This Friday I will be visiting Graham again
since I am in
the need of a tire, and he offered me one. I will give him a
pair of fork
springs I have laying down, because he won't accept any money.
Oh, I think I
can also call him my friend (right?)
So far, charity has work very well for me.
