+1 It's NOT a good feeling to have the engine sputter and die while on a 45mph divided road at night in traffic and not have practiced that. That was also the first time I had to switch to reserve and I wasn't aware how the engine would react (it was also at ~135 miles into the tank and I wasn't expecting to hit reserve at that point). Now that I know what to look for from the engine, I'll be able to do it before it dies. I'm just glad it wasn't at 70mph on the highway.
