I have a nighthawk 700 and the crank bearing has gone out (very load knocking from the bottom end) at this point in my venture I either need to replace the motor or junk the bike. I have been told that the crank needs replacing and that this is somthing that can not be turned and new bearings put in. I don't have the money for a new crank as it is over $1000.00 with all the gaskets. if I can't find a 700 motor is their another motor that will fit in the bike? This is my first bike and the person I bought it from probable new that the bike had this problem when I bought it.
