Ken,

I have a '83 CB450SC and I too bought the bike as a project. Things
are going well but as someone mentioned, finding parts that are in
good shape has become an issue. Some important small things are no
longer available as OEM and are not really the things that people save
for parts. For instance, my bike is missing the collar that resides
inside the rear brake pedal pivot (Collar RR 46501-477-000) or the
chain adjuster on the right side (40543-443-760) which is stripped and
has a big ugly bolt in it now. Anyone have a parts bike where these
are intact and for sale?

Ken, what area do you live in?

I'll post pictures when I can . . . . this summer for sure

Anyway, welcome to the group!

Murray
