Hi Jody, welcome to the group. When you get those decals made, let
us know. You will have others lined up to buy the same. I recently
experimented with badly oxidized/corroded cam covers. I had them
sand blasted. that gave them a peuter look and then I sanded with
fine grit sand paper just the top flat surface and the beveled edges,
finishing them off with alluminium polish. . So, just the top and
beveled surfaces were real shiny. They came out real nice and

replaced the stock exhaust with a four into one Supertrapp

Also, the side and rear decals are showing great signs of wear. I
am working with a graphic artist at our local print shop and a
sign store to create a brand new complete set of decals that will
look exactly like the originals for about $100 total.
I could not wait to get my NH so I could share with everyone
here. I'll keep you updated when I get the new decals.
My winter project will be to try and get the oxidization off of
the aluminum heads.
