Our local (Cleveland, Ohio) Quaker Steak-n-Lube has a bike cruise every wed night. They get thousands of bikes there every week (have set a Guiness book of records there also), and I try to go every week, with at least one of my 700-S bikes. This past week, I had a friend ride one, so I had 2 there. The red '85 has only 6K original miles, and the blue '84 has 13K miles.
The red '85 is the ONLY one of my 700's that has the factory "Honda- Line" side bags (bought the bike from a fellow forum member). Bike also has factory luggage rack, and engine guards, which I have on a few other of my bikes. Previous owner installed a "Givi" hard case onto the factory rack also. I'm not a big fan of the extra accessories on the red bike, and have also noticed how much more wind drag they catch when riding. I'm seriously thinking of removing them from the bike, and either selling them, or (possibly installing everything on one of the other bikes (one that has over 10K miles). I want to keep/make the 6K mile bike look as close to NOS as possible, and feel I would enjoy it more without the extra luggage...I have however noticed that the both the wife and I are using the "crap" out of the top hard bag; pretty much every time we take the bike out (it's just SO handy to put stuff in there!). ps.
