Joe knows that's not borderline possessive. It's way beyond that -

Wow that's borderline obsessive/compulsive, lol. I envy you! You
sure do have some beautiful bikes. Glad to see you enjoy them
especially the pristine ones. I'd almost be inclined to keep such a
low mileage specimen under glass.

I believe it's 36 now, but a few of them aren't delivered/here yet (1
in Ca, 1 in AZ, and 1).
I saw what I did wrong with the pics. When I copied/pasted the title
(for the subject line of the email), I had an extra word on the end
("OPTION"), which kept the pics from coming to the correct post, and
thus started a new/second post. I believe a forum member has corrected
the problem now. Thanks, Joe

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] 2 of my 36 Nighthawk-S bikes made it
to bike
night/cruise-in (yes, I've bought more)
Our local (Cleveland, Ohio) Quaker Steak-n-Lube has a bike cruise
every wed night. They get thousands of bikes there every week (have
set a Guiness book of records there also), and I try to go every
week,
with at least one of my 700-S bikes. This past week, I had a friend
ride one, so I had 2 there. The red '85 has only 6K original miles,
and the blue '84 has 13K miles.
The red '85 is the ONLY one of my 700's that has the factory "Honda-
Line" side bags (bought the bike from a fellow forum member). Bike
also has factory luggage rack, and engine guards, which I have on a
few other of my bikes. Previous owner installed a "Givi" hard case
onto the factory rack also.
I'm not a big fan of the extra accessories on the red bike, and have
also noticed how much more wind drag they catch when riding. I'm
seriously thinking of removing them from the bike, and either selling
them, or (possibly installing everything on one of the other bikes
(one that has over 10K miles). I want to keep/make the 6K mile bike
look as close to NOS as possible, and feel I would enjoy it more
without the extra luggage...I have however noticed that the both the
wife and I are using the "crap" out of the top hard bag; pretty much
every time we take the bike out (it's just SO handy to put stuff in
there!).
ps. Hopefully I can remember how to post pics on here now
