Note the knob on the handlebars. For the younguns' among us, it's a steering damper. Tighten it when you wanna go fast and it "stabilized" the front wheel, forks and handlebars to minimize wobble and play (straight line only, since it was largely useless for canyon- carving because it interfered with countersteering efforts in tight curves. 'Course, the Dream was pretty much a boulevard bike, anyway.
