The key phrases in your question are "hardly ever gets driven" and "problems with carburetors."
Gas doesn't stay "fresh" or liquid for long. As the volatile organic compounds in it in evaporate, it turns into a thick "syrup" which, depending on how long it sits, can eventually become hardened crystals. Both these substances clog the tiny passageways in carburetors, blocking fuel from flowing where it needs to go. The only remedy in severe cases is disassembling them and doing thorough physical cleaning. This is not particularly just a 750 issue, but pertains to any carbureted engine that is used only occasionally, then stored, such as lawnmowers, RVs and such. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
