i realy liked my 99 250. i am almost 300 pounds (lighter when i first had
it) and 6'3"... the seat was tall but foot position was restrictive. it was
a great first bike, but selling it when you are ready to move on might be
difficult. i sold mine to a guy for $500 and had to take it in payments (btw
i bought my goldwing for $500, thats why i needed to sell the 250) if you
are looking for a short commuter bike the 250 is great, if your looking to
do more then 50 miles a day then go for the bigger... but i recomend looking
at craigslist or other places before paying retail for anything
