While hunting with ATV's in November we got in the habit of ALWAYS
resetting the kill switch back to run. Sometimes a little moisture
gets in there and it'll move fine while your warm hand was close to
it over night it freezes solid and you can't turn your trike on.
Won't help if you bump it at a light tho...

The other 'stupid mistake' (that I've made) on is the engine kill
switch. Just so you know, it does need to be in the "Run" position
for the engine to start... I bumped it with my glove one of the
first times out pulling up to a stop sign. The bike cranked and
cranked until it died and I had to get a jump... and move the switch
to "Run"... :(

I hate it when technology tries to save me from myself. I never
even considered that there would be a clutch safety switch. Still
need a batt and my speedo is in pieces on my desk but I'm about to
go for a short ride. Insurance for those wanting to compare was
$257 cad for 3 months. 1mil liability, fire, vandalism and theft.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people
to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of
the roads weren't paved.
