Hi Folks, Finally got off my butt and too some pictures (attached). Some info. about my bike: · 1986 CB700 SC · 13,688 miles · Got a front fork servicing 1 ½ years ago. · Engine servicing 1 ½ years ago (nothing major – more of a check since valves are self-aligning). · Oil changed routinely when in use · Engine runs like a dream · New Battery · Seat in perfect condition · Rear cowling is faded · Ride side (cover?) is missing. · Front tire good, rear tire needs replacement · No custom parts – all stock. · Bike has never been dropped while riding. Some minor scrapes & scratches from falls (not while riding – all lame-O moves in the driveway) That’s about all I can think of. I live in CA (near SF). Any thoughts as to what I might get for this? Thanks, Greg From:[email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Paul Sent: Sunday, June 05, 2011 5:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] 1986 Nighthawk S for sale (CB 700SC) Hi Greg, A little more info would be helpful. 1. How many miles? 2. Has the bike ever been dropped? 3. What kind of shape is the paint in? The seat? The tires? 4. Are there any custom parts or is the bike completely stock? 5. Etc... And a picture would be helpful too. I honestly don't know what bikes are going for in the Bay area, but I would guess (depending on your mileage and the overall shape of the bike) you could get anywhere from $1500 to $2500. That's a wide spread because there are so many unknowns. Anyone 1) know what they're going for in good condition (perfect running shape, OK cosmetic shape) and 2) anyone interested in buying it? I'm just starting my homework regarding selling it, so... thanks, Greg -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
