Yay! It's not an "oil thread", exactly, I guess. Anyways. I have used Fram on all my vehicles and have never had one fail me. 271K miles on the 2003 tacoma and it's still running like a Pfaff. Had the head off at 200K miles and everything looked peachy. No scoring on the cyl walls, piston heads looked new, cams, crank, chain, everything that should be oiled was fine. That said, I do usually opt for their Tough Guard or High Mileage filters. I also change my oil religiously every 5K miles, use quality oil (won't mention the brand as I don't want to set off an "oil thread" ;), haven't missed a change in 271K, and clean my K&N every other oil change.
