Christchurch is like Seattle, I think. I lived both places and they seems as lot alike. Snow stays on the ground longer in Seattle though.

They said it's the biggest snow storm here in 15 years. Just had a big flash of thunder and lightning at 10AM. Thought this might help cool off some of you mid-westerners out in the 100+ degrees.
