I bought a re-coved Corbin seat off of Ebay for about $200 for my '83 650 because the stock seat had no support and I could only ride for about an hour before needing to take a break becasue the stock seat would cmpress all the way to the pan. I found the Corbin harder and a little wider at first but ultimatly it has been a great purchase, I also don't slide around on this seat. I can now ride all day without any butt discomfort. I personally would reccomend it based on your question. It was worth every penny for me.
