So, while we were out comparison shopping for a front tire for my lovely Bruise, I discovered something: I may like standards and sport bikes, but my girlfriend adores cruisers and highway haulers.
I happened upon a dealer that offered Kawas and Hondas and Hyosungs, which mean I was also able to cross-fit myself on the Ninja 250, CBR250R, and the Hyosung GT250 and GT250R models for my commuter. Chelle also tried a couple, as she's expressed some quiet interest in also learning; she's basically where I was three years ago, intrigued by the thought but still a bit afraid of them. She did not like the three I mentioned /at all/. She did, however, peg hard to a used '99 Valkyrie in all it's gloriously lumbering bulk. And a similarly used Vulcan in it's fully dressed format, and so on and so forth. I had to give her a little dig about liking the most expensive bikes on the lot, but she got support from another customer at another dealer we browsed through. :p Anyone else in this boat?
