They are designed to run higher rpm than a car. 2500 rpm is just about the 
minimum for cruising on my 750NH. My VFR likes 5000RPM best.

Hi all, After replacing my NH550's Fusebox, Wiring Harness and Ignition
Switch, It's finally running! It revs wonderfully but doesn't like to idle,
if it gets below 1k rpm, it shuts off. Any suggestions?

Now that I have it running, I added a can of seafoam to the gas as well.
