The main reason is for love. My wife is a Wound Care/Rehabilitation nurse. She sees all of the yahoo and unfortunates that fall from thier bikes and need massive skin grafts and rehab. While yes, she didn't have a problem with me riding, every time I went to ride to work on the freeway here in Dallas/Fort Worth she would worry too much for me to ignore. Since i have three kids my recreational riding time is next to nothing I would rather sell the bike while it's running than let it rot in the garage. I love to ride and I love the bike but i love the wife more. The extra money could be used too.
