What are your symptoms? It could be a clogged filter which is inside the petcock. Those are a cinch to rebuild versus a carb or four.
When I pull mine, tank comes off first (pop off side covers, then 2 bolts to remove the seat, then the tank comes off. One bolt, two rubber lines, and one electrical connector) Then the boots for the airbox come out. You could loosen the airbox and slide it back, but you can muscle these out. They are a PITA either way. There are two boots - one from the airbox to #1&2 carbs, and one for #3&4 carbs. Then loosen the four rings holding the carbs to the intake tubes. For the control lines (throttle push cable, pull cable, and choke cable), I believe that you just need to remove one while the carbs are still attached to the bike (the cable on the right side of the bike, the choke cable IIRC), then push down on the bank of carbs quite firmly with both hands, and they should come loose. You can pull the carbs out the (left?) side of the bike and remove the remaining two cables.
