I agree - last year this bike was going for a lot less - however they
were probably in much worse shape.

My advise - go to www.hulu.com, watch a couple of episodes of Pawn
Stars and walk in with $1,000 in one pocket, $200 in the other two and
$100 in your wallet.  Pull out the $1,000 (in hundreds), fan them out
and offer $1,000 - don't flinch and just hold the $ up until they
react.  Do your best imitation of Rick from Pawn Stars and work from
there by pulling out the $200 or $100 depending on the counter offer.
The $100 in your wallet should be a $50, 2 $20's and 2 $5's.  You want
to be able to give them exact change.  When I bought my bike he was
asking $2,700.  I pulled out $2,000 in hundreds made the offer and
held them up, he stared at them for about 2 minutes said "You're a
tough negotiator" and took the money out of my hand.
