Recently my high mileage 92 NH750's starter motor bugged out. The solonoid clicks but the motor won't turn. On removing the starter, I found the inside full of oil, which apparently entered by way of the starter clutch. Should there be oil on the starter clutch where it connects with the starter motor? If not, does the engine have to be broken down to reseal the starter clutch area or can it be sealed from the outside somehow. I fear that if I fix or replace the starter motor, it will just get filled with oil again. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Jay S 92 NH750 South Florida
