<Still Responding to Old e-mails>
My 450 has had since I got the replacement carbs on it a seep from one
carb. Therefore I got into the habit of turning my fuel petcock off at
the end of my street and riding home on the carbs. (about 1/4 of a
mile) this would actually drain the carb without running the engine
too lean and the amount of fuel dripping was reduced.
    Now, with the vacuum powered petcock on my Suzuki - I completely
forget that I even have a petcock until I go to kick in reserve.
      Regarding the kill switch - the MSF course I took also taught
the kill switch then ignition routine - however, my Dad doesn't use
that as that isn't how he was taught 30+ years ago. I've screwed him
up with the kill switch before.
