Good enough. I've flown before. It was FUN! I got the tools, I can teach you
how to wrench...it's really not that hard once you get past 3,000 feet....LOL!
Most of it is just practice and starting with the little things first. Once you
get your confidence up then you're off. Is this trading altitude for aptitude?

I fly airplanes for a living. Some pilots work on their own. Ususlly we call it
"apptitude" I have learned to trust but verify because I have NO mechanical
apptitude. Tell you what.. Ill teach you fly, you teach me to do my own wheel
bearingsĀ  Deal?

Wheel bearings. My question is: why aren't you doing your own work on your
bike? These maintenance-type things concerning vintage bikes never ends. It
will cost you a fortune real soon unless you pick up a wrench. You've got a
great team on this site and we'll all help you. I personally don't want anyone
working on my bike. It's MY ass in that seat and I want to know exactly what
has been done and, as you know, you can't trust a mechanic to do it all or do
it right. Hotrodmamma.
