Sticking throttle, sticking throttle cable, gummed up carbs, enrichener (choke mechanism) sticking...to name a few.
After sitting for 5 years, carbs are sure to be "varnished" on the insides (gas evaporates, leaves a sticky residue behind) plugging critical jets and passages. You might get away with using with a Seafoam gas treatment, but more likely you'll have to tear the carbs down and clean them by hand.
