I have been having a problem with my battery discharging when I go on longer freeways rides on my 85 cb700s. When I ride around town I have no issues, the bike starts no problem. I did a 400 mile ride yesterday, and when I stopped to put gas after riding for abotu 130 miles the bike would not start. It crancked very slugishly and did not have enough power to start. I waited about 5 more minutes and tried again and the bike started, but barely. It did this another 2 times when I filled up. But this morning when I started the bike after being in the garage overngiht it started no problem. I came to work and shut it off and restarted it and it sounded fine. Has anyone encountered this issue before, battery discharging on longer trips, or at higher rpm's. I am assuming a bad battery but does not hurt to ask. Thanks in advance.
