Hey Dana, welcome to the group,

I'm trying to figure out how "runs great" and "needs ... crank shaft" come
together.
How was this damage caused and how was it diagnosed?
If all of this is accurate I wouldn't pay more than $250 for the bike
personally.
If it's only going to cost $100 to repair the seller can fix it and sell it
to me for $800 running.
Just my thoughts...
