I often use the passengers pegs for freeway riding. Drops me down into a sportbike like position and gets my head out of some of the wind. Caused some questions first time I came back from a ride with the passenger pegs down when I'd left with them up.

For me (6'4" tall) the highway pegs mounted to the crash bars are less comfortable than the normal pegs, but they are nice to have for a change of riding position. I wouldn't spend $120 for them when you can get a set for $20 that don't look bad. As for a fairing for someone my size they need to be as tall as the stock mirrors to be effective, but no more than that. I personally like a fairing that only shields my body but not my head, and is below my line of sight. That way I don't get turbulence shaking my head, and booming in my helmet, or glare/dirt/rain/fog on the wind screen blocking my view.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] pegs/windshield
Hey guys,
My friend just bought like new 1995 NH 750 and its so beautiful and clean and nice, that i decided to add some stuff to my 1993 nh 750

I want to add high way pegs and windshield

so the ? is, are the high way pegs comfortable for that bike?? are they worth it?? because they cost about 120 dollars, and where is the good place to buy them if they are worth it.

for the windshield, i want something sporty and cool looking, since im only 27 :) yet something that will get some air off my chest...
i kind of like those small ones but do they do the job??

any ideas/comments please....

thank you
