If you look up teh part on CheapCycleParts.com, select the part you want and add it to your cart... then go to your cart and select the part and it will link and show you every other bike where that part is used. BikeBandits parts diagrams don't do that, I find... and bike bandits is the slowest order fulfillment service I've ever had. I week regularly just to process an order and ship it off their docks.
Here's teh cylinder head part on their web site for the 550. http://cheapcycleparts.com/model_years/201-honda-1983-nighthawk-550-cb550sc/assemblies/3807 I just tried it with the "exhaust guide valve", and it is the same one used on the 1984 and 1985 650 Nighthawk, I found. It looks like the cylinder head assembly is the same as well on 550 and 650. Just did a quick look. I doubt all parts on teh head are interchangeable, but many appear to be.
