It sound to me like he rigged it up. It should turn off with the key only, and all lights should come on with the headlight going out when you press the starter button. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

With the key on, the head light is on and so are the yellow blinker lights in front but not in back. Is that the way it should work?
