Hi there, I am in the market for a Honda Nighthawk 250. I have previously owned 2 Honda Rebel 250s and a Kawasaki Ninja 250. I bought all bikes new from the dealer.
Since I have never purchased a used motorcycle, I need some advice. I have found a 2003 Nighthawk with 15,228 miles for $1,800. Is 15k+ miles alot on a Nighthawk 250 engine? How many miles does an engine normally go? Is $1,800 a good price? What do I need to look for when inspecting the bike? (Cosmetically the bike is in very good condition.)
