Stuck choke? Leaky petcock? Float needle stuck open? Do you turn off the
petcock when you get done riding it? Flooding isn't usually a problem since
these things are set up so lean. Try tapping on the carbs with a screwdriver to
loosen any stuck float needles.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Floods easy

Hi, my 1986 Nighthawk 450 floods easy when I go to start it. Is there a trick
to get it to start without taking the plugs out or just waiting for 45
minutes.? Thank you in advance.       Fred
