We know all about diversions don't we? Getting that outfit to commit to date/time pickup was like trying to nail jello to a wall. Hope they don't repeat that performance on the delivery end.
Anyway, it's good to have it finally in transit. I'll be spending the meantime arranging insurance coverage, title transfer and plates. Shipping was $700 and change, based on bids from 8 different companies. All the bids were in that neighborhood, so I used the eenie-meenie-minie-mo decision-making process to pick one. I'm in the trucking biz myself, so I know moving the bike to Seattle is pretty typical of hub-based transport companies. The pickup driver is probably a regional guy, who'll transfer it to an over-the-road operation, most likely a team. Anyway, thanks for the help on your end, Paul.
