I didn't notice you have a 550, so I can't vouch they won't touch the tank. They are lower than stock and a little wider more like a drag bar, but in my opinion the riding position is improved since your back is straighter. Also I feel like you have better leverage than with stock bars. If your controls touch the tank just take a little piece of 1/4 inch flat stock and JB Weld it to the turn stops. I tried a set of New Euro-Cafe bars that were $30 but too low (the cables were dragging & scratching the tank) I exchanged those for a more "cruiser" style & the geometry was totally off. E-bay has a set for $50 & $90/that includes shipping. Seems like WAY TOO MUCH!!! Anyone have some they'd like to part with?
