I have an injected 1985 GW Limited Edition. It really runs smooth and is easy
to start. The previous owner, who owned it for 22 years said it was always
easy to start. He had it meticulously maintained. By the way I know where
there is another '85 Limited Edition , front fairing is a wright off and the
computer but the engine runs nice. It's owned by a friend of mine in Lansdale
PA (near Philly). He bought it to put back together but has never gotten
around to it. He wants $500 for it. I'd like his side covers but that's all.
I replaced the starter on an'84 (GL1100) last year and it was very easy -
about 15 minutes work. Maybe the GL1100 and GL1200 models are different in
that regard. I haven't looked at mine, Graham
