Paul, the hardware can be a problem, as well as how it fits around the headlight. If you don't know, it a gamble.

I've been looking for a windshield for my 1997 Honda Magna. I will find a design that I like, and then input my year, make and model, and inevitably the website tells me the shield will NOT fit my bike. But then, I have found guys with my exact bike writing a review about that very windshield!! This makes me think the website's ability to match bikes and shields is not foolproof. How does a person know for sure without just buying the shield and and trying it out???
