Hi, First timer...Ca. Mod (can retain emmissions or bypass them, let
me know) (Backfires and POPs w/ the small canister under the front of
the tank connected, does not w/ hose disconnected and plugged...if
that helps...)
I had the carbs soaked at a Honda shop. They also raised the needle
and "adjusted the air screws". Now the bike loses power in each gear a
little until on flat ground in top gear, the engine will not pull the
bike at a steady speed w/ the throttle held in one spot.
I plan on dropping the needle back down and adjusting the air screws.
Any help on the proceedure of adjusting the air screws and the factory
setting would be appreciated. Live in Ohio, not too much elevation or
other unusual factors.
Anybody got an Ignition switch with a key< this one has a switch, but
OFF does not work as a terminal is not there...(Nighthawk
Nightmare....)
PS: I've checked the usual stuff, air leaks, filter, polished the
slide and cover, sync, coils read OK, replaced the caps as the values
were low. checked float height, what else is there?
Please RSVP, Thanks in advance. Double G, Perrysville, Ohio
