A local dealer let me take out a Yamaha FZ8 yesterday. It was a really nice
street bike, had enough torque to pull away from as low as 2K rpm, and makes
110 HP on the top end, I actually popped a little wheelie on my 3rd gear
upshift @ 75MPH. The suspension felt very nimble and planted and the riding
position was great. Despite being a naked the way the headlight is shaped it
must deflect some wind because even at the ton wind wasn't oppressive. Cons
were the stock seat is terrible, way too lean, and the rear brake is almost non
existent. In a couple years I might try to pick one up off the used market.
