A friend of mine has an old katana 1200 and it has an electric adjustable wind
screen, that's a really neat option.

I already moved on. I had a nice ride today in the wind. I just put the
shield up, and the whistle stops. Wonderful.

Please, can't you just let it go? My original complaint was your need to
beat on it forever...................... To quote a self proclaimed sage:
"Lighten up, man".

Gene:
If you bother to read subsequent posts and also the language in my original
post you would arrive at the conclusion that i didn't perceive Paul as the
writer,and he admitted as much.
Check the thing out before going off on someone.
Further if you weren't so busy being offended you would perceive some levity
in the original communication.
I know it's written and not spoken in person and that makes it more
difficult to perceive the tone of voice and facial expressions of the
speaker so try to trust the intent of the writer instead of hastily
concluding one means ill with his utterances.

Life's too short to harbor acrimony towards one's fellow or just life in
general. We have experienced enough emasculation in this climate of
political correctness.
Lighten up, man.

The writer = Paul. He has a name, and spent lots of time on the original
website and it's (correct me if you are anal) upgrade. Doubt if he needs
English lessons. I sure don't think they are
appropriate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you appointing yourself as the keeper of the grammar? You could be
velly bussy! (correct as necessary - just keep it to yourself)

This site is very interesting and informative. It also gives a timeline to
Soichiro Honda's various achievements.
I do,however, wish that the writer would learn the difference between its
and it's: it's is the contraction for IT IS, not the possessive pronoun.
That is ITS. Maybe it would help to think of ITSELF instead. One wouldn't
write IT'SELF,now,would one??

BTW - I had a hard time with my phone over that deliberate mistake. It
didn't want to let me make it. After all, IT'S a mistake in ITSELF, isn't
it?
lol...

Hey everyone!

For the past several weeks I have been working on redesigning my Nighthawk
website (the very one that inspired the creation of this discussion group).
The site has needed a facelift for quite some time now, but another reason
for the refit is that the Internet is offering more options for websites
than existed at the time I initially set up the site. Google's Blogspot,
which was a simple place for bloggers in the beginning has now developed
into a place where you can develop a (fairly) full-featured website for
FREE.

Over the years I have continued to pay the cost of my domain name
(hondanighthawks.net) and the webhost on which the site runs, but by moving
the website over to Blogspot I am able to eliminate the latter cost. (I will
be left with just the cost of my domain name, which is about $10 a year.
Quite affordable.)

The website refit is mostly completed, except for the Your Nighthawk
section. I haven't gone public with it yet (meaning I haven't redirected
traffic from the domain name to the blogspot yet) so I would like to let the
members of Nighthawk Lovers get a chance to check it out first and give me
your feedback. I would LOVE suggestions, comments, criticisms, etc. After
you've looked it over, just reply to this thread. You will find it here
<http://paulsnighthawkpages.blogspot.com/> until I get the domain
redirected.

Thanks everyone and ride safe!

Paul
