If you have an air compressor you can blow air between the bar and the
rubber and it will inflate slightly and glide right off.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] How to change handlebar grip?

My 750 NH got off weight on me in the driveway the other day and I dumped
it. Only real evidence of the fall is the left handlebar grip got scuffed.
No big deal, but I bought an OEM replacement. The old one is on there tight,
as it should be. Can I get it off without cutting it off? How will I get the
new one on and then have it be tight? Anybody done this? First time for me.
Thanks.
